Ever since I shot this session I’ve been losing sleep over whether or not this baby is loved at all by her parents, especially her daddy …

haha.  I don’t usually like sarcasm too much, but seriously, is there anything cuter than a little girl with her daddy??  I think not!

You may remember Miss CJ “Campbell Jane” from a while back when it was her and her mommy’s turn in front of the camera.  I know you remember … everybody always brings up the baby in “yellow”!

I couldn’t resist just shooting CJ with her daddy with her beautiful Momma right there (in town from the great state of Colorado no less) so we grabbed a few family pics as well.

This next one made momma cry … and me too So much meaning to this next one for this special little girl.  What a blessing to grow up in a home with two parents who prayed and prayed and prayed for you, who love you more than anything, AND love each other.

Oh, and some of you may notice that blue … well, this was my first shoot AT the studio.  Fun, huh?  I love having a great little spot right out the door!

You also might recognize that cute cute dress Miss CJ is wearing, and the answer is YES, it too is a COURTNEYCOURTNEY original. Her momma has lots of style and is a HUGE CC fan!  IF you are too and have been having trouble getting your hands on one (they sell in less than 60 seconds these days) stay tuned for a super fun little surprise I’m going to unveil in the next few days.  It involves lots of CC originals AND money for some pretty specials orphans I know over in Africa!  I can’t think of a better win win!

The other morning on our way out the door, she just looked so cute in an old CourtneyCourtney dress that she just HAD to wear, so of course, I HAD to photograph her for 7 minutes in the driveway before we left.  Here were the hilarious results.

that middle one just makes me laugh out loud.  and in case you are wondering, there was NO prompting. I never said “jump” or “act silly” or anything of the sort. I’m still not exactly sure what she was doing, but she was putting on a show in the middle of the street, that’s for sure.

AND … this last one. OMG.  The look she is giving that snail attached to our garage door is more than priceless.   Oh, three year olds …

And speaking of Courtney Courtney … just so you know, I have talked with Ms. Courtney herself about the possibilities of cloning herself so she can make more dresses for all of you fanatics out there (hint: I’m reading all those emails, I promise) She’s working on it, but in the meantime, keep your eagle eye ( read: refresh your browser every minute for a week ) out for her hot new styles that she posts daily!  They are currently selling in less than one minute!!!  Isn’t she just fabulous? We love all her clothes and its all Mia Grace wants to wear these days (this morning she had to wear her “NUMBER FOUR DRESS MOMMY”  (its actually a #3) More from that shoot later …

I am SO excited to show you this all new style by cournteycourtney.  If you read my blog you know how much I adore her girl’s clothing.  They are hip, fun, funky, and oh so comfy!  Mia Grace loves her courtney dresses and I was beside myself when I slipped this new style on her last Friday.  Its a sleeveless dress with a hood and is perfect for layering!  When it get colder, we’ll add some fun leggings too.  The fit is just perfect for those in between sizes and I suggest you head over to Courntey’s store right now and grab up what she has left! AND, the one that will make me happy for a long time

ok ok.  so i’ve officially turned into one of those moms.  i can’t help it.  im just so darn proud to be her mommy.  Courtney has all sorts of new styles for spring that I had yet to photograph for her.  Just to clear the air … i dont actually plan photo shoots with Mia Grace.  This is what she wore to my bible study on Tuesday and before we headed to the park, I found a new little alley I am quite fond of so we took a few pictures.  Enjoy my little monkey today

These had such a retro urban feel that I had to do some fun things with them.  I originally just ran them through my normal processes, but it just didn’t look right … so I took the opportunity to play.  Let me know what you think!

Throwing rocks … taking pictures of the “rocks” too is the only way she will cooperate AT ALL.

A new absolute favorite.  The is the angle I see most of my little girl … when she’s sitting in my lap and i adore it.

I put these side by side because it is remarkable to me how she can look so much like me and then so much like her daddy in a split second.  This is proof!  The one on the right, she looks just like her daddy!!

This is my fav fav! I did some crazy stuff to it and I love how it turned out.  Dont you just want to squeeze her?

And … just a fun one at the park after our little shoot.  She LOVES to swing really really high!

I told you Mia Grace wears these clothes every day.  Here is Courtney’s new style with the flutter sleeves. SO cute!  There are more to come that are so much fun. If only the weather would get better so I could take some more.  Can you tell she isn’t really enjoying the photo shoots too much anymore??  lol.  I keep telling her she’s going to get fired as Courntney’s model   Check out her spring line HERE!

Oh, and I promise Courtney’s clothes come out of the dryer wrinkle-free.  Um … this little dress, however, was left wadded up in the hamper for a few days … maybe I’m the one that’s going to get fired!!!

Before we head out for date night, I had to share a few images I took of my baby girl before school a few days ago. Is she not the cutest?  I know I am biased, but she is just so much fun to photograph even if she makes me work REALLY hard for anything work keeping.  Again, this cute top is from the VERY talented Courtney Chu of CourtneyCourtney.  I know lots of you have asked lately where I shop for Mia Grace.  Courtney is our favorite and Mia Grace is basically a walking advertisement on a daily basis. Her clothes are fun, funky, and unique which fits my baby girl’s spunk. I’m all about the up close and personal shots with my new lens.  ::swoon::  I’ve been dying to get those eyelashes on camera for a while.

A new favorite.

This one is SO her.  This face cracks me up.  And NO, I didn’t catch her blinking. She’s closing her eyes on purpose.  My little drama queen.
