I love getting to photograph guys, and this guy in particular. Austin was super laid back—just very cool—and his interests completely intrigued me. For example, animation. He’s all about it and I know just enough about the subject to understand that it takes SO much creativity and patience to pull off even a short 30-second animated film. And Austin is that guy. His talent and maturity are an amazing combination and our conversation on the subject was a highlight of the day!
His mom, Brenda, is also a sweetheart. Austin is her baby and I always feel for those soon-to-be-empty-nester mommas. I’m not there yet but I know it’s around the corner and, with two children of my own, I know there is something about the baby—every milestone seems to mark a huge passage of time.
Austin, thank you for allowing me to be a part of this particular milestone in your life!
