This guy right here is one to watch. Austin is an incredibly talented videographer, having already written, shot, acted in, and edited his first short film (wow!). Now, award-winning photographer can be added to his list, too—his work made it to State this year! I didn’t think anyone could compete with his older sister, Aubrey, as my muse, but I must admit, it’s a close race…I mean, this guy gets me; he totally rocked my grey T-shirt “uniform” during our session.
This was truly one of my most memorable sessions to date. It felt more like collaborating with a like-minded friend than photographing a senior boy. Neon signs and brick, metal, and wood backdrops factored into this urban-industrial session, and night-time shots pulled me out of my comfort zone and pushed me in a good way! Thank you for stretching me, Austin. I’m so happy to have finally “met” you.
