Avri was just the kindest soul to photograph and I so enjoyed our two hours together. She is passionate about dancing, and that poise and control came in handy for posing–a huge bonus considering I am 30 weeks pregnant! 🙂 I loved Arvi’s color choices for her clothing, too. Bright red set against the tree-lined road was gorgeous, and an unexpected color I loved was her yellow dress by the lake. After over 12 years shooting portraits, I can’t remember anyone wearing that shade, but Arvi definitely pulled it off—especially with her long, dark hair and the softness of the background. Arvi has such a genuine smile, but her “serious” poses still exude kindness!
Arvi is the youngest of three—and that made me think about how I might feel as a Mom during this time with my “baby.” She and her mom, Tonya, have the sweetest relationship. I don’t know how I attract the sweetest clients, but I’m thankful for it, to say the least. By the end of Arvi’s session, I knew 2020 was looking up for me. I have one of the fullest schedules I’ve ever had, and despite the busyness, I leave every session thinking about how fortunate I am to do work I love!
