What an incredible class of young women at Grapevine Faith Christian School this year. Not only are they beautiful but they are SO smart! One of those brainy beauties is Grace, who just happens to be ranked second in her class. Grace also has the sweetest personality; her name couldn’t suit her more perfectly.
Grace’s senior session was the first and only session I’ve done in Fort Worth this year. We decided it would be perfect as she loved the idea of a cactus setting. (Side note: it’s one of my current favorites, too.) It’s not the most convenient though! With traffic and construction it takes a while to get there but this spot is still one of my favorites and so worth the effort. I love working in a fresh spot or a location I haven’t visited in a while.
Another perk of this locale was returning to the window light spot I found 10 years ago! It’s a building without a roof that’s gone through a lot of changes over the years, and I love the brick there and the glorious light filtering in from the window. I’m not sure who goes in and paints it on occasion but one year there was graffiti, and another year a random outdoor basketball hoop was affixed to the walls. Just a very cool spot.
On another note, you may or may not know this but I am sucker for a jumpsuit. It’s my go-to purchase because for some reason I feel like a little kid when I wear a dress—unless it’s form-fitting—and, well, the days of tight dresses are long gone for me! Ha! So, needless to say, I love the jumpsuit trend and it fit Grace beautifully.
What a great day with this one! Grace is just so sweet and kind, as is her mom, and my good gracious…what is up with the Faith girls and all this amazing hair?! It’s crazy!! Like I said, brains AND beauty abound in this class!
