Can we all agree that Koko is just absolutely gorgeous? Upon talking to her, you’ll learn she has a heart and mind well beyond her years. She is kind and well-spoken—it seems impossible that she’s only a senior in high school.
For this shoot, we ventured into Dallas and explored some amazing new locations. We saw this stunning mosaic wall, and it was Koko’s idea to stand in front of it for some photos. With her matching orange tank top, you would think we had planned it from the start! Thanks to some creative angles and a little camera magic, you can’t tell that there were people all around us during the shoot. You’ll also notice something that might become a new trend very soon—the cutest custom balloon announcing that Koko will be attending KU this fall!
I also had the privilege of photographing Koko’s older sister, Keaton, in 2016. I was reminded that she will be graduating from KU soon, and I honestly can’t believe it…where does the time go? Keaton was a Rock Chalker dancer throughout college and now Koko will be headed to her sister’s alma mater in the fall. How cool is that? Needless to say, when the girls’ mom, Jackie, asked me to photograph Koko, I was beyond excited to get to work with this family again. I feel beyond blessed to be hired by returning clients who trust me in every step of this process. It’s truly humbling and I will never get tired of it!
