It was SO fun to get the opportunity to photograph Mallory. I’ve known her mom, Marion, for years now. She’s the head of admissions at Grapevine Faith, where we met her when our 14-year-old was just entering pre-school!

Mallory is the sweetest soul–she made the session so seamless and fun.  I loved how prepared she and her parents were for the day of our shoot. They even brought their clothes to our pre-consultation so I could see them in person!

I could tell right away that Mallory is an old soul. She had so much grace and maturity throughout the session, and she was very laid-back and easy to photograph. We spent our time together bouncing around Grapevine, hitting up all of my favorite locations. I loved the bridge photos we took with the river in the background, and some gorgeous shots with the trees overhead and the sunlight shining through. Mallory switched it up throughout with floral blouses, a cute polka-dot dress, and even a white cowboy hat for a great Texas touch. She also changed a t-shirt from Texas A&M, where she’ll be going to school next year.

I was so glad that we could get some family pictures in too, with Mallory beaming in between her parents! Plus Dad brought her adorable puppy at the end of the session for some super cute puppy pictures…my favorite prop. 🙂
