I LOVE this family, and I extra loved that big sister Lucy (who I photographed several years ago) came along for Max and Charlee’s shoot, as did little sister. It’s so much fun seeing close families and siblings interact. This family really, truly loves each other, and it’s sessions like these that make me start to think that maybe I should jump on the big family train…and then I chicken out. Ha!
Like most teenage boys, Max didn’t seem particularly excited to take senior photos, but I loved photographing him, and I could tell he was having a great time. This happens all the time with boys: they may not be into the photo shoot at first, but then they completely turn it on for the camera like it’s their job.
As for Charlee, she is such a light and joy just emanates from her spirit. Seriously, from the few hours we spent together, I could tell that she is an incredibly kind and beautiful soul. Speaking of which, it is said that “the eyes are the windows to the soul.” Well, the eyes from this family are seriously stunning. Don’t believe me? Check out Lucy’s photos from a few years ago. Gorgeous, gorgeous eyes.
Overall, we laughed a lot during this session, and spending time with these siblings felt a lot like hanging out with good friends. Thank you, Teems family, for giving me another opportunity to spend time with you!
