Where do I begin to tell you how much I loved this session with Miranda? Well, let’s just start with the surface facts: she is completely unaware of her photogenic beauty and her hair is absolutely insane! (And when I say “insane,” trust me, I mean that in the best possible way!)
But going beyond the superficial, this session meant so much to me because Miranda is not just a client but a neighbor and now, a good friend. Her family moved into our neighborhood about five years ago and immediately put up a sign indicating where the children went to school and it just so happened to be my girls’ school! Mia Grace and Miranda’s little sister soon became BFFs and I soon came to love the whole Robbins family dearly.
So, it was a blessing for me to have the opportunity to work with this beauty, spend some one-on-one time getting to know her better and make some serious magic together in her session! Though sweet and unassuming by nature, I watched as Miranda stepped outside her comfort zone and really embraced her moment in front of the camera. She was so easy to coach and trusted me, which made getting these beautiful shots a piece of cake. Even when she literally got 30 mosquito bites on her ankles, she acted like a pro and never once complained!
There are some days when I have to rush home after a session because, you know, life. But after that day with Miranda I sat in my car, prayed a prayer of thankfulness, and looked through my card at all of her images with such a full heart and big smile on my face. I’m so grateful that I get to do this!
Thank you for the privilege of getting to capture your outer and inner grace and beauty, Miranda!
