There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful Sofia was during our session, but I can tell you that this girl is as kind as they come and possesses a sense of inner stillness that is beyond her years. Some of the best photographs were captured in the moments when Sofia forgot about the camera and focused on her family. I especially love the photo of Sofia sitting on the rock ledge—and can we talk about how perfectly those corduroy pants match the golden leaves in the background?
This shoot was especially exciting as big sister Isabella came along to support Sofia during her shoot. One of my favorite phone calls from former clients goes like this: “Crystal, it’s so-and-so’s turn!!” Seeing my clients annually (or sometimes even more often) is one part of photographing babies and families that I really miss. I don’t regret my decision to exclusively focus on photographing seniors one bit—but I’ll admit it’s why I think it’s so fun to have younger siblings come back as returning clients. Thank you so much to the Brown family for entrusting me to photograph both of your beautiful girls!
