Today we’re throwing it back to last year with Hunter Johnson and his family in Grapevine:

Hunter was so much fun to photograph! It didn’t hurt that he had one of the most natural smiles of any senior boy I’ve photographed before. 🙂

What made the session even more fun was that the whole family came along, including Hunter’s sister Hannah, who I photographed in 2016. (Four years ago now!! I can’t believe it.) Hannah ended up going to TCU and pledging Chi Omega– I love that because I pledged Chi O at TCU too when I was in college. It was great to see how well Hunter and Hannah get along. At one point I commented to them–wow, you guys really like each other! I loved seeing such a great sibling relationship, and we got some great shots of them with their parents too.

Hunter plays baseball for Legacy Christian, so we made sure to stop by the baseball field, with his varsity jacket, bat, and glove making great props. Then we hit up some of my favorite locations around Grapevine. I loved the Euro vibe of Hunter’s navy suit and white shoes (plus a cool belt). Also can we just talk about his perfect hair for a second?! No stylist needed!

All in all, it was such a pleasure getting to meet up with the whole family. To the Johnson crew, thanks so much for choosing me again for senior and family photos. It’s such a special thing to be able to capture a family photo at the moment when the youngest is headed off to college!
