Red hair, perfect eyebrows and lips, and creative-on-the-verge-of-avante-garde makeup? YES PLEASE! This amazing and artistic young woman is a photographer’s dream. Certainly MY idea of heaven!

When I met Libby and her mom before our session I was immediately excited to photograph her. She has such a natural beauty and a turn-your-head gorgeous kind of face. Maybe it’s because I have literally photographed hundreds of clients over the past 10 years, but I immediately notice things like bone structure and eyebrows (although it seems like almost everyone notices eyebrows these days thanks to YouTube and Instagram…”eyebrows on fleek” anyone?). Bless the blonde, all-natural eyebrows of my youth. Who knew they would be such a thing? Ha! But I digress.

Libby has a super artistic Instagram account where she posts close-ups of her unique eye makeup, so we decided to incorporate this into her session with her first look. Afterward, she removed the extra eye makeup and the rest of the session featured more natural styling. I loved it SO much.

In addition to being a dream to photograph, Libby is such a sincere and genuine human being, completely at home in who she is. She exudes peace and I think we were able to capture that in her session. Fun fact: her mom, Amy, is an extremely gifted woodworker which is so interesting to me. I’m totally wanting one of her pieces in my home!

Thank you, Libby, for making this a photographer’s dream day!
